Midnight Breed Pendant

My mom made a request for me to make her a pendant of the mate symbol in the Midnight Breed series, a crescent moon with a teardrop.
So I wrapped silver jewelry wire around a spare keychain ring, then wrapped two lengths of twist-tie to tuck inside and give me that nice crescent shape (wrapping the ties gave me bulk, so I only needed the two). Then I went over the twist ties with tape to secure them and stop my final layer of wrapping, which you see here. The teardrop is a bead I had in my stash, secured with further wrapping. Then I finished it off by making a wire loop, slipped it on a spare chain, and voila!

It took me around 5 hours, as contrary to my nice little summary I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and went through some serious trial and error. However both my mom and I are quite happy with the final result
