Commission Info: Updated Novemeber 2016

Alright guys, I’ve made a few changes to my commissions regarding payment and prices.

First, I’ve decided to stop taking point commissions and only accept payment via Square or paypal . I know this is tough for some deviants, but I’ve just had too many issues with points, and the two week waiting period is a long time for my paycheck to come in, especially when I’m using part of it as a float to purchase supplies.
     As you can see above, I have now found a promising alternative to paypal in Square thanks to the lovely @Lelagore, who mentioned it in her recent update regarding her jewelry store Nereides Treasures. You can read all about it here, but the sort of it is that Square is much more secure and buyer/seller friendly than paypal.
Furthermore, I can now accept :
        Any Canadian-issued and most non-Canadian issued credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, or  Discover logo.
        Gift cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, or Discover logo
        Most non-Canadian issued credit cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, or Discover logo.

Second, after a lot of consideration and research, I’ve decided to considerably raise my prices. Again, I know this will be tough for some deviants and I apologize, but I honestly was not charging enough; I basically worked at material cost, often even below, let alone not charging for my crafting time. This was wholly due to my ignorance, as I’d only really ever crocheted as a light hobby and not really taken into account how much time and effort I put into each piece. But now I’m more experienced, both in my craft and in business, and my prices will reflect that.

*I accept paypal (or equivalent instant transaction, eg. Interac e-Transfer) only. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me!

* Payment will generally be made in two installments - the cost for your item upfront, and shipping after the item has been created and exact shipping determined. If for any reason you would prefer only one payment,  shipping can be estimated, but be aware that it will likely be slightly higher than the exact cost.

Regular and  Alternate Materials:

*As you can see from the listings, I generally use soft acrylic yarn because it’s pleasant to the touch, but tough and generally machine washable, as well as being inexpensive, allowing me to keep my base prices down. However, I have no problem using alternate materials upon request, and I’ll still try to find the most inexpensive supplies to meet your needs, in the case you do not have a specific product in mind.  Alternate materials will only be ordered once you have approved them. Just be aware that this will affect the base price of your piece.

Shipping:

*I ship internationally, based out of Canada. Packages generally fall under ‘small packet – air’, costing between $10.00-$18.00, and taking roughly 1- 3 weeks to arrive, with no tracking number. To get a tracking number shipping jumps to a minimum of $60.00, so unless your really concerned about your package arrive safely and make a special request, I’ll be using small packet.

*Shipping is made in a separate payment from the item commission in order to avoid over or under charging, unless specifically requested otherwise.

*Bundle deals with a single shipping charge are subject to change if shipping several packages is less expensive than a single chipping charge, unless specifically requested otherwise.
