Yes, I am into Steven Universe - I checked it out awhile back for fun just to see what all the hype was about... and was completely hooked. So of course I had to make some amigurumi gems!
First is square mom, in all her afro glory - seriously, I think it took me as long to needle felt her hair as it did to crochet all the rest of her, and let me tell you that stuff is solid!
Surprisingly though, she can still stand on her own even without wire in her body (I just put a little in her arms for minor posing).
Her shades are just pinned on for now, since I like to see her pretty eyes
I'm going to make her fingers longer than my standard hands next time, but otherwise I'm super happy with how she came out. I'll probably post a few more non-compilation pics later, partially because I'm proud of this one and partially to play around with my foldio
